The Painter
Early career
After studying fine arts at the University of Barcelona and working more than two decades for an important fashion company as a fashion designer, helping it reach its current place at the top of its sector. An inner need led Roser Noguera back to painting.
She studied Energy methods and she trained with renowned masters with who she learned most of her acquired knowledge. As a result, she fused together her knowledge and created Energy Art. Paintings that provide energy balance by knowing what is inside us: Portraits of the Soul. Until now, she did not intend to exhibit since her paintings have been custom and personalized. Roser now wants to spread her art because she believes deeply in herself. Her works are a result of the people she helps; and these paintings are donated for sale. Furthermore, she still paints custom-made works.
Art Work
There is always a common basis in her paintings; expressionist brushwork that gives shape to a figurative drawing. She uses pictorial resources from different periods and artistic movements. They are chosen specifically for each art work, if needed, in order to emphasize the most important points. She always works her paintings in an energetic, unique and personal way. After finishing an art work, she never changes or touches anything as she prepares it thoroughly before painting. As a result, she does not look for loftiness in her technique; nonetheless the artistic result is genuine and deep, steeped in the feelings of people. She seeks transcribing with fidelity what she has seen inside of the person.
For the people painted by her, the paintings are a revelation and at the same time they feel intimately portrayed, despite the contradiction it seems, on the one hand, it is a discovery of their interior, but on the other hand, when seeing it, they feel recognized, as those things you have always had but never before have you noticed.
